Another interesting story for you guys, fresh of this mornings drive to work.

As I’m about 3/4 mile away from my exit, I switch to the “exit only” lane and slow down to match the speed of a prius in front of me. I notice there is no one in front of said prius, who is driving about 25Mph. on the exit lane, while traffic beside us is traveling at least 40-50 mph.

I come to within a 1 car length gap between me and the prius with a 1/2 mile left to travel before we actually reach the exit and I notice that the driver isn’t even looking forward at the road in front of her, instead, she is looking in the driver’s side mirror while her blinker is signalling to the right.

SHE DRIVES THIS WAY FOR 1/2 OF A FREAKING MILE!!!

I KID YOU NOT, We make eye contact through her driver’s side mirror and i gesture to her to look at the road ahead of her, because just as you exit there is a sharp right turn and a stop light within 75-100 feet from the exit and freeway split.

Her eyes widen and her mouth opens and her eyes dart up, as she suddenly takes the right most lane and takes the tight right turn. You could see the car lean under its own weight, and tires struggling to keep grip. I take the right turn lane to her left, and pass her as she blocks another 4 or 5 cars behind her, this time traveling at around 15 mph.

I’m just glad she stayed on the right lane, and once I moved into the left turn lanes, all the cars behind her, switched and passed her.

Oh Mondays, I mean, WHO DRIVES LIKE THAT!?!?!? LOL

This is the only thing that driver would have made eye contact within the mirror just before I passed them.

Driving to Annapolis, there is a section where 32 merges with I97. The merge lane is like 2 miles long. So some idiots will ride in it really really slow and try to find a gap. The merge lane ends with my exit.

Such an asshole did that to me on Friday. Oh hell no...I laid on the horn and they got outta the merge lane. They were matching the snail pace of the traffic beside them with no one in front of them.

Grr...may your ass be infested with 1000 camel fleas!

My latest road rage rant involves approaching a gas station in an area with a huge wide road, including a shared center turn lane. I’m about 150 feet from the entrance to the gas station and a pickup pulling a trailer pulls out slowly. I come to a complete stop as he traverses the lanes to turn left (he was coming from my right) and I tapped my horn. I mean, I was going 35 and had to stop completely. Not a long honk either, but a little “hey! did you not look left at all?” honk.

He then stops completely in the road, blocking all lanes and the entrance/exit to the gas station. I’m probably 50-60 feet away, windows up, can’t hear a thing he’s saying out his window. He’s gesturing left and right, pointing at the ground for some reason... holding up everyone in sight meanwhile. All this, in a truck bearing his business name and phone number - probably his own name actually. I just smiled and held up my hands in a “wtf are you still doing?” gesture. I smiled and gave him the thumbs up when he finally moved. That’s my favorite anti-road-rage move. Not going to ruin my day, buddy.

hahaha i did the two fingers to the eyes and then pointed forward, then she looked up ahead looked back at me with wide eyes and then turned hard right. I thought her prius was going to tip over! LOL
